This was a research driven group project exploring the origins of food coming in to the Chicago Public School system and the distance it travels to get there. The objective was to tell this story using only symbols.

These were the second round of symbols I generated for the poster.

The main critique of this poster was that it was too dense with unnecessary information. As a group we had missed the mark of telling the story solely with symbols.

These were my original symbols created to showcase each stage of the food in the production and distribution process, we decided that the message was to vague and the "apple concept" although cute, was lacking in meaning.
